Amish in River Country

There are several Amish communities in Michigan, but the community in River Country, Southwest Michigan, is the largest in the state. Traveling through Amish land is very relaxing. You are forced to slow down and enjoy life as it was meant to be, as these plain people do.

Visit some of their shops to get a taste of how simple and relaxed life can be.

Camping in River Country

Amigo Park (Sturgis MI) - Camping is a family event at Amigo Park. Bring your RV or tent to enjoy this wonderful campground. Cade Lake Campground (Sturgis MI) - Located on the shore of Cade Lake covering 52 acres. Open for day use or overnight camping with 62 campsites, 44 modern. Cranberry Lake Campground (Marcellus MI) - Nestled in the rolling hills with a magnificent lake view from almost every site.
