The Rivers of Justice Film Festival is an annual event that highlights films that explore themes of social justice. Come for the festival stay for the enlightenment that is guaranteed and the World Fare reception afterwards. World Fare is a fair trade store in Three Rivers, Michigan. They started the annual Festival in 2009 with a "Fair Trade Film Festival" that featured two short films a one feature length film. Just last year the name was changed to the Rivers of Justice Film Festival to widen the scope of viewing and dialog each year and keep the conversation moving forward.
This year Rivers of Justice will focus on Food Justice issues with a specific focus on local agriculture.
